Dapo Afolabi, MD

Dr. Dapo AfolabiDr. Dapo Afolabi, MD is a Co-founding partner, President and CEO of FortWorth Renal Group. After graduating at O.A.U College of Health Sciences in Ife, Nigeria, Dr. Afolabi completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Nephrology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He was voted Senior Resident of the Year and was Chief Renal Fellow during his training at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Afolabi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is also a certified Interventional Nephrologist with over 10 years of experience.

Geethanjali Ramamurthy, MD

Dr. Geetha RamamurthyDr. Geethanjali Ramamurthy, MD is a Co-founding Partner and Vice President of FortWorth Renal Group. She has been in practice in the Fort Worth area since 2003. After completing Medical School at the top of her class in India, she went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and Fellowship in Nephrology at Henry Ford Hospital, also in Detroit. She completed both programs in 2003. She is currently board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

Samatha Chandupatla, MD, FASN

Samantha Chandupatla, MDDr. Samatha Chandupatla, MD, Co-founding Partner of FortWorth Renal Group is a highly experienced Nephrologist, who has been in practice since 2005. She completed Medical School in India and went on to do her Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University and then Fellowship in Nephrology at Louisiana State University. She is currently board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She is also a member of the American Society of Nephrology.

Patrick Nef, MD

Patrick Nef, MDDr. Patrick Nef is a well-trained and highly experienced Nephrologist, who has been practicing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since July, 2008. He completed his medical training with honors and top of his class, at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He went on to complete one year of internship in Dublin, Ireland, before relocating to the United States for his post-graduate training. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Nef then relocated to New York City for his Nephrology Fellowship training, which he completed at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. His training included an additional year in Transplant Nephrology. He has also received a Masters in Science-Clinical Research from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and New York University.

Muhammad Omar Azam, MD

Muhammad Omar Azam, MDMuhammad Omar Azam, MD finished medical school in Pakistan. Dr. Azam completed his Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Michigan. He was voted to be Chief Resident during his final year of residency. Dr. Azam finished his fellowship in Nephrology at Wayne State University / Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He was also chosen to be the Chief Fellow by the faculty. Dr. Azam is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Brittany Keaton FNP-C

Brittany Keaton, FNPBrittany Keaton is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with nine years of experience in the nursing profession. Brittany is licensed by the State of Texas to provide patient centered care that encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of complex health ailments throughout the continuum of the lifespan. Ms. Keaton is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP) association. She is certified as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Fundamentals of Critical Care Society (FCCS).

Lisa Mathew ANP-C

Lisa Mathew ANP-C, MDLisa Mathew is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-C). She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2005. During the course of her nursing school, she entered the field of dialysis as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in 2001. She worked as a PCT for the 4 years she was in nursing school. Upon graduation, Lisa worked as a floor nurse in both dialysis and in the hospital on the cardiac telemetry floor. Once eligible, she became a charge nurse for the dialysis clinic. A few years later, she became the unit administrator for the US Renal Care –West Fort Worth location
